hey all, im currently working on a thrid person shooter but, im having trouble with models and i suck at creating them, so i was wondering if there was any trail version or freeware models from darkmatter or anywhere, as long as the models are like police stuff or rpg stuff, ty

buy darkmatter and get models (lots of rpg stuff in there, not so sure about the police stuff though), or check out the media folder in your DB folder.. (Assuming you bought the boxed product, I don't know if the download version comes witht the models or not) as there are a few good models in there to get you started.

Once you have a working game engine that you can show to people I am sure a few will say here use my models.. most people won't give out models to just anyone on a whim.

For the december newsletter TGC gave out some free models, the link should still be there. Darkmatter is DEFINITELY worth the investment. I got gameSpace+Darkmatter in *.cob form, and there are TONS of models, and unless you choose lo-res versions they are all very detailed without jacking poly counts up too high.

also DARKMATTER has a couple of bug fixes and extra utilitys for DB making it an even better buy.
