Give a little bit more info, like what the laser is, is it particles, a cylinder or what. Also, the part that its fired from, is it a limb of the object?

Its not a bug, its a feature!

rotating cylinders in db i've noticed is buggy. always seems to get distorted or something. I suggest making you're own cylinder in a modelling package, so you can set the pivot point to one end of the object. Makes aiming the laser much easier.

The trick with DBP cylinders is that you have to position the cylinder at the midpoint of the target and the firing position and then rorate. A custom cylinder with the origin in one end is a lot easier to position and point at the target.
