DarkBASIC Discussion / DB goes blank on start with db waiting cursor

DBC used to work fine and i got an error once and after that it won't load, the screen goes blank and the cursor that you see when you are waiting shows up but that's it. i tried restarting and re-installing. any ideas?

All things are possible the impossible just takes longer.

completley uninstall the package.
reinstall it / dont forget updates.
check to see your video card driver has not been corrupted.
check to see your directX version hasnt spacked out

I've tried reinstalling with updates.
I have direct x nine so it can't be that.
There appears to be nothing wrong with my graphics card.
Does anybody else have any ideas?

check your drivers, check that your video card and those sort of things are working correctly with DxDiag.exe......really strange...it only happens with DB?

:: Pentium 300 Mhz, old 8Mb video card, 64Mb RAM, 5 gb & 1.6 gb HD's, W98 SE, Sound Blaster AWE 32 ::
