took me months to get this far, but here they are:

Plese tell me what you think, dont be too harsh though . This is going to be an action game with a bit of RPG thrown in. Right now there is only unarmed combat, I hope to have other weapons later.

Wow Blazer, this is very impressive. Especially the waterfall scene.

Suggustions:

1.) Replace the square tree trunks with a simple 8 sided cylinder. (12 sided if you can afford it without slow-down) It will make that forest scene look twice as good guareenteed.

This project is showing some huge potential. Still with it, and keep up the good work.

Those are some really nice screenshost! Your level has a great design, very dramatic.

So is it basically a punch and kick type game, or will there be puzzle elements as well?

keep posting updates!

Well I like the waterfall scene, and I bet you got that scene idea from Zeldacerina of Time.

Trees need work, they're too box like. I hope you main character is just a temporary thing till you get the proper one out cuz that needs a bit of work on, and that's it.
Reminds me of N64 graphics.

Good Job so far.

Nice work! . Agree about the trees, if your FPS can manage it. And the main characters texture on the torso could use a bit of work. Aside from that, cool.

Use set object smoothing on the main character model. I agree about the trees too.

Where did you get the goblin from because I swear it's the same one from Axes of Evil?

Really looking good though!

only two things i would say need changing, like everyone else said, the trees, and the shadow, the shadow is bigger than the character so doesnt look that realistc, and in the first pic is actually over the edge of the cliff. Apart from that, very sexy .

They are very nice screenies. Only thing I cant understand is why a breakdancing prison escapee is fighting a goblin in a forest.

Just jokin, the trees need work as said, the character model looks nice and distinct but needs some smoothing.

I also think thay the cliff walls could use some definition, rather than being flat textured surfaces just move some vertices about to make it seem craggy and real

Yep, definitely for Axes goto: http://yarbles.zapto.org/realitytwin/main.html?Info
...and look at the goblins in the screenshots. Not accusing you of anything just want to know where you got the model from.

thx for the feedback, I'll see if it laggs my game to much to make rounder tree's. Yes that is the same goblin from axis of evil because we both got it from Polycount.

I'll keep working on it, but don't expect a demo to soon, I work realy slow.

Looks good. The main character could do with a little work though. Mabye a diferent texture or something. It´s nice to see an adventure game made in DBPro. I hope it has some puzzle elements as I love puzzles. I can´t wait to play this.

that looks pretty good! what i first noticed when i saw this was all the nice open spaces...i think it's important not to crowd the player i agree with all that is said before(such as shadow size...) .... if you need any 3D models then e-mail me at...TheMithrandir@juno.com...i'd be happy to make a few weapons or something else (static...not organic )

Freddix, um.. no offence but are you just learning english. Sympathetic does mean exactly the same thing in english as in french. I maybe wrong because I hardly know any language and grunt when I want something, but just wondering since

Its cool that you understand the importance of low-polygonqal models for games, but they dont have to be sooooo low poly.

-The trees looks bad because,4 faces
-The texture are not sharp, they are all blurry(right word)
-Try hidding half of the background with montains or something else
-Try adding more details to the level,it loos naked.
-Waterfall,Try adding some smoke effect.
-Try making some noise on the floor,it looks too flat
-Try to add transparence to the water

It dosnt look that bad but there´s still much to do.

Oh and about the trees, when they're far away I like the way you've blurred them, but they appear to be floating.

I think the shadow bothers me the most. A PNG image of a gradiant transparent sphere would fix that. Unfortunately, my 2D software is too low tech to make one of those. Otherwise, I'd just post one for ya.

Very good potential this project has. I hope we can soon see a demo. I agree with everybody here regarding the trees and the character, but other than that it is quite impressive indeed. Keep it up.
