How would I go about finding this "fancy third party tool"?
also, is it possible to minimise an executable (created in DarkBasic)?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure about the E-mail dll... but I think you can minimize a darkbasic project using the code "Set Window Mode 2"... or something like that (Window State Maybe)... It might be Window mode 1 or 3... Well... Try it out untill it works...lol

Hope I helped...

It's certainly possible to send emails through VB, so maybe looking for some examples in VB would yield better results - the last VB example I saw used MAPI and was supplied with VB4, seemed very capable.

Hmmm. Even minimise window doesnt work, is my DB screwed or something. the same happens with code left on the forum, it just doesnt reconise the commands. i tried patching it up but it refused to work. bugger.
