I am remaking Road Rash 3 in darkbasic and I need help with the mirrors to see behind you. I don't know if its possible in darkbasic.

Im not so sure you can put a mirror on screen all the time, but you can use an inkey command and while the key is held down, the camera goes to a 3rd person front of car looking back view. That would be useful and its featured on many racing games as well.
