I could really use some feedback on a project I am doing with Gamevisions.

I need to test that all the different steering wheels on the market can access all their pedals properly. It is a race game in the making, still many graphical issues and some physics to do - very early stages still.

Anyway what I need is for people with wheels to download the alpha and tell me please if your steering wheels can be set up to work properly.

Note that the force feedback option "Full Effects" hasn't been written yet, use "Auto Centering" for now.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Oh as this isn't a Banshee release it is not hosted on the Banshee server so my appologies for any bandwidth issues during downloading.

Do you have any screenshots you can show? Just to show people what it looks like, if you don't have screenshots most people won't download it...

Just my advice, I'm downloading now

Thank you.

Ok, I just tried it, and the steering worked fine, but I don't have a wheel, so I can't answer your question . I found the car a little hard to control, probably because of my slow machine.
Specs:
1.80 GHz pentium 4 processor
512MB RAM
80GB Ultra ATA/100
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX

Here is what I know so far on wheel compatability:

Works
Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel* (Win XP)
Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Racing Wheel (Win XP)
Saitek R4*

Don't Work
Logitech MOMO Racing*
Logitech Formula Force GP*
Logitech Formula GP

And because I cede to silence here are some screenies to encourage wheel owners to download and have a go *grumbles about being made to look a lemon*
