I'm sure most of you by now know about the acoders comp (http://www.acsv.net/acsite/competition_index.php)

Here is a very early look at what my entry will be like - if i ever get it finished Unfortunately it's back to school for me tomorrow, so i won't be free to work on this.

I don't want to give away too much - theres evil copycats around, you know.

Heres some screenies:

The main character in the game: yes, its a clock, with hands and feet. Right now he's punching the camera.

"Help, im being chased by a bunch of crazy alarm clocks!" Yep, that's right, the enemies are clocks too. (that matrix is just there to show where the floor is, and where the alarm clocks reappear. you can move off it.)

"The smell of death surrounds me...." Here we see our hero standing over the bodies of his vanquished foes.

I haven't quite finished uploading the demo yet, but when it is up, it will be available at http://kharnor.dbspot.com/time.rar and http://kharnor.dbspot.com/time.zip
Arrow keys to move, enter to attack. (the aim of the game: see how many clocks you can beat up before you get bored.)

At this stage, the demo is just to show very basic game mechanics: walking, punching, dying (and of course my beautiful modelling work). I've got most of the game planned out, but if you have any comments or suggestions i'd love to hear them.

Just wait till you see what Time looks like

I think i've fixed the media problem - it seems to be working, but one of you guys better check it out. The rar's up, the zip should be up very soon. same address as above.

Right now i'm working on enemies that fight back, and maybe some items to pick up. Stay tuned!

Why don'tyou keep the media separate and just RAR (or ZIP) everything for the game?

It works for me.

Make sure you actually extract the archive.
