I think what newbi 2 basic is trying to say is that you're asking for a lot there. People aren't about to sit down for 1 or 2 hours just because you asked.

Darkbasic (and Darkbasic Pro) are programming languages. There isn't such a command as make racecar. Search the codebase for ideas on how to acheive what you need....

stop();
hammertime();

Or even better you could sit down, devote most of your time to it and learn to do it just like every other competent coder did in this community.

oops, double post

Well, I guess since it's already been done, I guess I'll flame him some more.

I think I know what you want. Go to walmart, and buy some crappy nascar game. It's not free, but all the codings been done, and you can use it to your heart's content! Jerk.

if your not sure which bits to learn:

do you want it 2d or 3d?
learn the 2d commands or 3d commands accordingly.
learn some good physics math if you want it 3d and learn some form of either matrix/world/bsp commands to make a racetrack, followed by how to model+make worlds etc.

learn the basic commands to use the arrow keys for menu + game controls.

want to have a save game function? learn about writing to file and opening them again.

that should be all u need appart from a few others.
