Some teaser screenshots of the latest junk we're working on over here.

More to come.

Just an adventure-type game, kind of like Zelda 64 but for the PC.

Cheers.

Pretty neat, and the model resembles Link in a way too. Just make sure the story is different from OOT and MM.

OOT= Ocarina Of Time
MM= Majora's Mask

Nice! Looks very Zelda-esk. The main character looks great, and the enviroment looks nice so far, also. Could use some slightly brighter colors and a nice sky, though.

@ZB:
Oh the story line will be different. We just like the look and feel of those type of adventure/console games.

@ESC_:
This is just an "in progress" shot, no sky was put in just yet (but soon). I'm also going to brighten it.. I have ambient too low on the lightmap.

thanks guys.

@Hexgear:

Legend of Nerok 1

That was one of the first games we made in DB (classic) a looong time ago.

That's already available for download, but it's pretty basic.

@Manticore Night:

Thanks. It's been a learning experience. Being able to do simple collisions with NG's DLL is a big help. We were using some really funky collision boxes on Nerok 1. Since it was classic, we also didn't have the speed that DBP has.

And Kensu figuring out better animation and me getting a little better at texturing isn't hurting either.

On the docket for today:

Combat
Spawning
Some UI stuff.

We'll have a demo relatively soon. hope you guys give it a whirl when we do.

thanks.

Here's another, with a bit better HP system in place.

Combat works.
Just putting in some "drop code" and such. Demo real soon.

Hearts look great, but it kinda reeks of "total rip off"

teehee

These containers aren't bad in action.. 4 segments of triangles.. but i'll agree it's a tad overcomplicated to judge how many HP you got.

I think he's referencing the fact that it's similar to the "Triforce" pieces.

So in essense, it's geometry being "ripped off" but wasn't used for displaying HP.

It honestly doesn't look too bad in game.
