How do I program it so that when the player hits a button, the character moves into that direction & an animation is moved?

Hey!



Then what you do is, store the walking animation to (example: ) frame 1 to 30 and the idle animation to (example: ) frame 31 to 60
and then you use @ start frame 1 and endframe 30 and with else 31 and 60 .

That's about it.

That helps, but I'm a bit confused on the 1-30 then 31-60. Is 1-30 the first whole rotation of both feet moving & then 31-60 is just like looping?

Hey!

Well, the 1-30 are just an example. You could use 1-10 or 1-100 if you like. 1-30 and 31-60 means 1-30 frames and 31-60 frames.

So, you can use frame 1-30 for walking animation and 31-60. And you replace startframe by 1 and endframe with 30.

Then you must have it
