hehe, I'm on a gap year earning money, so I not only earn money, I have all the time in the world to do whatever I want.

But anyway:
1) Working until July (That won't stop me coding before then)
2) No G/F at the moment
3) Most of my friends are at uni, so hobbies are on hold

Hmm, just sunk in. Methinks I'm a little too nerdy.

return as float = (Timer()/(9.8 + Object.CurrentSpeed))/(value as float=in.value)

but ofcourse you'd have to put it into a function else you'll get a casting error

A) contract work for my own IT/Multimedia Business allows me to work less than 40 hours in some weeks but other 65hours.


B) have an X girlfriend, we are just friends now, perhaps a new gf is in the pipeline for me, just met someone nice. Cant stand women who dont let me work or I dont eat so they have to put up with my computer fanatacism. cyberchiks or geekgirls who are moderately to insanelyt cute would be a bonus.


C) cartooning / illustration / music / animation / 3d modelling,animation / body building / game programming / video editing.

A) hopefully getting a job tomorrow. they aitn advertised job vacancies yet which means they might not have one.

B) dont have a gf, just get plutonic with everyone, more fun. as soon as i get into 6th form next september I'll try n get one on the first day there.

C) cycling (as u know), bmx-ing, most other sports, but to be honest, the main thing that gets in the way of coding is school.

A. Nah, too busy for a job at the moment with GCSEs and scool and stuff.

B. No, there's a girl I REALLY like ATM, she thinks I'm really witty and funny and I'd ask her but I've seen my reflection.

C. Mostly music, I listen to a lot more than is healthy, old and new. I like anything from Jimi Hendrix and John Mayall's Blues Breakers to Stone Roses and Coldplay. My parents are promising to buy me a proper guitar after my exams as well (YAY!!!). I'm also going to the V-festival this year. I haven't got much time at the moment but I play rugby in the Rugby Season, watch TV, muck about with my friends and lots of revision for school.

A. Sure, I work Casual at the local supermarket Usually only once a week, but I did in my shoulder recently at Tennis, so I haven't been able to work for a few weeks

B. I *did* have a girlfriend, but I let her go because I didn't really like her... Then I started hitting it off with this girl at school, then she broke up with her boyfriend, her boyfriend tried to beat the living cr@p outta me, and now she hates me

C. Yep. Tennis, Squash, Partying ( usually once a month at least with all my friends at one of our houses ), Skating ( Skateboarding ), Masterb... I mean...

Yeah man i know the feeling, but lucky for me most of my ex's friends kinda know me, and what my ex is like so they tend to believe me. Being an honest guy really pays off, much better than trying to manipulate ppl

Um... you don't. Just put in around 52 hours last week so I didn't have to work this week end (is a bank holiday in the UK). Now I have *no* intentions of doing any programming at the minute.

It used to be easier before house/mortgage etc. etc. etc.

Best I ever did was 156 hours overtime in one month, with one week getting 92 hours work (37.5 is standard non-overtime week). That was when I was in Dubai for a while, and managed to still get an hour or so here and there to play a football management game on a battered old 286. Tops. Also used to smoke then (was 25p a packet - cough) and went through about 60 a day. With the 99.9% of programming time and 0.1% lunch breaks (they deliver *everything* over there, even from next doors corner shop), I probably would of died of something or other if I was out there for more than 3 months. As it happens I bought my first car outright when I came back (and I had zilch in the account before I went). Double tops.

Yeah, I'm not the best skater out there... and I surely don't think I can pull off massive airs or anything like that... but I can do a few little things here and there, and that's enough to get me happy when I land something that's been bugging me all day

A few of my mates can skate alot better than me... Unfortunatly

Anyway, this is a bit off-topic, I'm going to sleep now...

Girlfriend: Yes, fairly new (only 3 months), so a lot of my time is taken with her.

Hobbys: Yes, many, right now making alot of progress on Free-Fire in school. Alot of time is also being taken by our Porsche car project. (100hp 4cyl swapped to a 375hp v8, mmmm *drool*)

The only reason I'm making progress on the game is because I receive credit for it in school.

A) Yes im currently a plumber, have been for 10 years now.
Usually work 48 hour weeks sometimes more if the work is there.
And ps. No i don't let my a22 crack hang out.

B) Nope, after living with my ex of 3 years and one year in a one
room apt i went insane.

C) Collecting horror movies, playing any console or pc game (time
permitting), and skateboarding which i really only do once in a
great while, due to work but i enjoy street and mini half,hate
vert, enjoy 3D Graphics, web design, and programming aswell.

ASM is good, but not the be-all or do-all one would suppose. With tools like DB, I'd frankly forego ASM for the modern stuff. (This from an ASM programmer for alomost 20 years.) Believe me, ASM is dead in this day & age, and though ASM is a good learning tool it's also hardly worth the effort anymore. There are too many "particulars" one must allow for and deal with in most ASM programs, making the code for one machine nearly impossible to move to another. (As my own Forth compiler will attest.)

DB seems a good way to bridge the gap in my opinion, such that I look forward to exploring its depths with enthusiasm and interest. It has been a long time since I've found a compiler that warrants this emotion in me, yet DB seems to be the ticket!

If you'd care to discuss ASM I can certainly accomodate you, but DB is my subject matter here...

I'm still in high school. So I guess I have it easy eh? Then again, I'm not the type who likes getting grades below 90, so it's kinda like work too. And I have not spoken to any girls other than my mom, or relatives, etc. so you get the picture. Other hobbies, well... no, because everything about the PC is so much fun, except when it begins to slowdown and whatnot...

So it's safe to say that... I suck. lol

meh nothing special they are just annoying and you have to watch what you say alot and you have to make sure you dont catch them on their "Special time of the month" and then you get the annoying ones who are all like "My mate fancies you hehehehehehe" and you like "uh huh! the fat one?" and they get all bitchy at you and YOU become the bad person but they generally grow out of that stage when they hit 18... although i am starting to doubt that.

they are very ignorant spieces and abit dumb to the world...

A) For the next month, I am between jobs and uni, and its time to kick back.

B) And for the next week, and then 6 weeks after that, my girlfriend is in Hongkong, which means all the time to myself I need. That said and done, she actively enourages me to make games, and so long as she's got something to do when she's round my place, I can make games while she does something else. How f*cking lucky am I?!?!

C) Actually, most of my other time consuming hobbies take a back seat at the moment. No time to write music, practice break, or anything else after I've done the stuff I need to do, and then carry on with dbp. Doesnt matter tho, as game making is my main hobby, and the most enjoyable.

I use Little Sound DJ (LSDJ)-- I purchased the ROM and sent it to a blank GB cartridge with my Bung Xchanger. It's cool--- it's like a little music sequencer that's great for live shows! Retro sounds! I just got it a few days ago so if I make anything good I'll post it on the forum!
