hello there! just wana ask if anyone of you ever experienced the problem of using forcefeedback joystick and how did you solved it in DBc or DBPro. My problem is that when i tried using forcefeedback and move my character, it continues to move to the left or right even if i dont touch the joystick. apparently, this does not happen if i only use a simple joystick without forcefeedback but if i do, the problem occurs and i don't know how i could solve it. Is this a DarkBasic bug that is still left unsolved?

Please anyone, help me. Recently, i tried to debug my code. But the results are still the same. I'm having a hunch that maybe, the reason why my character continues to detect the joystick movement, even though i'm not moving the joystick, is that because i'm using a throttle-based forcefeedback mechanism (ex. Logitech Wingman 3d). Maybe if i use a joypad this will ot happen. Come on guys, what do you think?

well i guess i have to answer my own question for all programmer's out there having the same problem. Please go to the DBPro discussion and search for forcefeedback. I guess the answer lies in making a "DEADZONE" in order to lessen DB and DBPro's sensitive mouse and joystick functions.

For all people having the same problem please go to the DBPro forum and type forcefeedback. The answer lies in making a DEADZONE for the control devices.
