I am still way new to DBC and programming in general. I have a lot of ideas of how you could achieve different effects in DB but obviously learning the way to do it is the tricky part.

In some of the free DB terrain editors like Magic World you can move a pointer over a matrix and manipulate the height and depth, etc. of the matrix.

What commands are the programmer using to do so? I have not seen any commands that control individual faces on an object or matrix. I guess I'm looking for features along the lines of a 3d modeling type program where you can select a face(s) and stretch or shrink, etc.

Thanks for any ideas.

If you look under the matrix commands you'll notice there are commands for adjusting the heights of the different vertices on a matrix, but unfortunately for DBC there is no support for editing objects.

Unless you have the enhancement pack. You can use memblocks to edit the object's data directly. But that may too advance for you right now.

But for a simple matrix, "SET MATRIX HEIGHT Matrix Number, TileX, TileZ, Height" is the command you want. Don't forget to call "UPDATE MATRIX", or the new heights won't be visible yet.

I take it the enhancement pack was not the v1.13 patch update I installed? Is it free?
