Hey people. I have a very frustrating problem I type the following code in:

and it says APPEND FRAME MUST BE GREATER THAN MODELS TOTAL FRAME COUNT.

So I try seting the new frame to something ridiculous such as 5000 and still get the error.

Here is some source code:

I know it's asking alot but could someone take the code and diagnose my problem and maybe give a correct version???

O yeah, the model " L-THUG-IDLE.x " is from DarkMATTER just to let you know.
Cheers,
Nick.

I found this example in the DarkBASIC help files. It explains how to use the append object correctly.

You can find this code in Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic\help\examples\basic3d
Hope I helped.

@DARKGuy,
In short, (if i understand it right) 'append object' adds animation to the end of the objects animation (there is also a command to append animation to a file). Like in the example, 'idle.x' is loaded and then 'walk.x' is added to the end of 'idle' giving the same object more animation.

@SAS Elite Pvt Rakosi ,
I would suggest appending the animation only once, when you first load your object, and then play the animation based on keystate. Like the example shows. I think the error is happening because you keep trying appending over the last append, but the command is designed to add to the end of the object animation and not over existing animation.

I hope that helps (both of you).

hehe thanks balid, so for what I've understand, it does add keyframes (?) to the original model but it inserts them at the end of all the keyframes?...mmm alright, thanks
