Even though I'm in an exclusive boys' school, there is an exclusive girls' school right across the street. I've never been there though, but judging from the ones I've observed on the sidewalk, Chinese-Filipino girls can be a pain (specifically the "conyos"
).
I don't see how being socially inept immediately makes someone a loser. Anyway, the smart classes aren't too bad. Our math teacher's pretty cool. Though I'm like, part of the "lower half" of the smart class. And about girls not getting into programming, those are generally the city girls here. A good number of girls from the provinces get into bs compsci, but since I'm not a uni student yet, I don't really know. But my cousin from Bicol is a compsci graduate, and she gave me her old msvc++ book. She earns pretty well too (PHP60,000 or around USD1000, pretty good for someone who lives in the province, where things are dead cheap).
