I am at my wits end, I got really bored and wrote snake just because I felt like it, it worked perfectly on my comp, ut when I gave it to my friend the actual snake part worked, but the death message, the highscores table, EVERYTHING USING THE PRINT COMMAND did not show up basicaly making the game useless. I added all the code if it's any help at all, but I can't figureout how to get text to show up!

lol, that wasn't exactly what I was going for but that makes me wonder. Could it be that he doesn't have the right version of directx?
