I'm nearly done with this project; it’s not bad to say its 100% DB-Classic. I apologise in advance to the 56k'ers around here, you are probably better going here:

http://www.enigmatekuk.com/SOR4/gallery/index.php?showfrom=wolf3d

The idea is that if I get enough interest, I'll convert the whole project into a tutorial. By whole project I mean level editor, FPS engine, the works. So let me know if you would like a tutorial on all / any part of this.

I know there are bound to be a few bugs so if you spot one then post it and I'll fix it, then when all is done, it will all become public. If you fancy making a level or two then fantastic! Send me the file and I will stick it in the game.

Here's the screenshots, the link to the download is at the bottom.

The Build, including editor, and game. (3.915mb)

That look very authentic! - nice to see someone focus on replicating the feel of a game as well as updating the graphics. Can't wait to try it out (which I will do when I have some spare time).

You should really post this in the Program Announcements forum though, hardly anyone will respond here and it deserves some recognition.

Now get DBPro and get to work on remaking Quake .

Just caught up in the BSP stuff, I'll switch to nuclear glory as soon as I have time and then I'll be cooking on gas

I'll make a clone post then in the Announcement section too if thats ok by the MODS.

AWESOME!!!!!!
Ahem...pardon the caps.

I particularly like your Goldeneye project. It's all so accurate, the mission folders, the ugly soviets, the silenced pp7s, it's truly beautiful.

Keep updating, we're hungry!

Why thank you Bear Crazy Donut Productions, I'm gonna have to stop doing remakes, guess you've seen the Streets of Rage one too?

It's just I play a great game but cant help thinking...what if you changed this, or added this...and then the remake begins. I'll set too on the goldeneye project in the coming month, so if you want to be in the team? Let me know!

Anyone tried Wolfenstein? Hope people like it.

....You gonna let us all in on the cheat then Hell Forged Angel? I know its got bugs and issues, but the sooner you let me know then the sooner it will all be finished and released. What did you think though in the end?

Really!? Wow! That’s a great help! I just started on goldeneye again last night, made a full nuclear glory FPS collision thing. I'll upload it when it looks more like goldeneye. For now, if you want too, then email it to me and I will upload it to my web space. That is so good of you.

Axelman that watch is cool! I've just finished the collision end of things, working on glass now (it's harder than it sounds), but if you don’t mind then I will put it straight in when I get the chance. It's fun to work on Goldeneye again, every summer I dust it off and do some more, usually re-write the whole thing, get closer every time but this year I might finally do it! I just need a team and you have the number two chair if you're interested?

I’m making a roaming inter-level thing like on Perfect Dark, it’s gonna be MI-5, you go to M to get your next mission, go to Q to collect your gadgets, etc, etc, is fun to make something completely different but in-keeping with the style of things.

Watch this space!

Well since I got such a good response (thanks Viperjay and Axelman), I thought I'd post the entire MI5 level layout (A render of the level), so you can let me know what you think. Remember the level is in its infancy, and is being made up as I go along, but please let me know what you think anyway. Ideas for improvements always welcome

Hey andy i would love to join your team, sorry about the late reply but i thought this thread went dead. I'm glad you liked my watch, i'll try to make a few more models, but i probably can't code anything for you because i don't have DBPro (Trying to win it in the compo). Your Level looks Cool, just needs some new textures and it would look great!
Anyways,

Axelman, consider yourself onboard. Just let me know what you wanna do and I'll do all I can to help. I'm coding the weapon system at the mo, I'm putting hands on guns, is very boring, but needs to be done.
On a positive note I managed to crack the goldeneye code and can export most of the levels and models!!!

Hey all the best to you guys and your projects. I am currently downloading your first one at the top of this topic. By the positive response you're getting it sounds great! I am only a beginner so tutorials would be great if you're still not convinced to publish them.
Damn 56k modem...come on!

Looking very good.

I feel the need to mention that I myself am going to be working on an fps pretty soon, hence all of the bsp style sliding stuff.

Good luck with this project dudes!
