i'm quite sad, I have a picture of me racing my kart atm, taking during the stint where I set a lap record. (It pains me to say that my brother actually holds the record there, but it's been mine for several half hours on numerous ocassions).

Links? Ok links to best Wallpapers then, even if you don't use them. There are some nice Spiderman2 ones. I just thought it would be good to have a bunch of wallpapers to choose from, all on here, in one place.

This is my desktop at the time of writing this. Note the lack of icons and logical layout. I think I'm obsessive compulsive. The part that says custom icons is actually where I keep my Yz Dock, a program that simulates the Mac OS X dock. Apparently its illegal now, but they can go f*** themselves, I like it and its not going away.

@TCA

why do you have 3 links to DBPro on your desktop? I thought one would be enough

that "guy" is Neil Peart, probably the best drummer in the world. The sick part is that he uses all of those drums and one point or another, they are not there for looks.

One's 5.3 test, the other is the full version. And one was left over when I was trying a demo...
I dont actually use any of them - I go through the start button...
And what are you doing with the beta of Service Pack 1!?

Here is the link for my wallpaper. Although this was a little low-res for me (1600x1200 or 2000+ normally) so my version has been photoshopped slightly to get rid of jagged edges).

@TCA

Its not the beta. I downloaded it from M$ like everyone else did. My windows seems to say that no matter what. When i didn't have service pack one installed it just said windows XP professional for testing purposes only. Its something about the CD I installed it from. I don't know how to get rid of it. The Dell computers I use at this place I go to also have it written there.

Sounds like the CD was slightly dodgy.
Demos of XP should have expired...

But the thing is, its not dodgy. Its just there. Its not a demo either. Its a real copy of XP, and it asked me for my real CD when I installed it. I think its because its and education department version

@Pincho Paxton,

[edit] I should mention the artist name.

Greg Fleming

and he's from the UK. It figures. Maybe Micrsoft needs to outsource it's artwork/gui design to the UK.

Yeah, from what I can gather this guy designed all the smilies(emoties) for this site, and I've seen his work in other places. He even has some first person shooter ICONS for your desktop as well as fun Icon packs. I was even considering writing a game using just icon packs. I'd love to ask him if he would allow is artwork to be backdrops for a puzzle game in DBpro.

If you clik more on the emoties bar you'll see his site link at the bottom. That's how came across his page

@MOONSHINE,

He even has desktop icon pack named Moonshine. They look real nice. It's always amazed me that Microsoft can never seem to hire or work with imaginative artist for their icons, wallpaer, skins, screensavers. You should see Suse Linux design, and customization options and included graphics, palletes, wallpapers etc. It really puts MicroSoft to shame. I wonder who suggested the Blue Bullnose windows design in XP. I hope they fired him by now.
