Hi,

Some of you already know what this is, but for the reast, here's the lowdown.

This app allows you to quickly and easily create setup files for you DBPro TPCs. Just add some DLLs, keyword files and help files to your project, click the "Compile" button and you're done.

A standalone EXE setup file is created (admittedly, it does need VB runtime but that's bundled with everything under the sun these days).

Features

Compiles to EXE
Installs unlimited dlls, keyword files and help files
Comes complete with groovy icon (see below)
Install has small footprint - it may be 400kb when unzipped, but when zipped the footprint reduces dramatically to a few k. I'll probably add a graphics-light compile option which should reduce the footprint by another few hundred k.
Lots of branding options
Have your own readme file with rich text formatting
Reads the Pro dirextory path from the registry
Free!

Coming soon

Serial number checking
Dynamic help file generation, from keywords file

Nope, works only for TPCs. Unless you want your exes to be installed into the plugin directory.

However, it is possible when thinking about it. Put all exes into the dll category and change the destination paths to something different. But it'll still display the DBPro root directory in the text box when installing.

I'll give this a download and test it out! one thing that would be nice, is an option to include an image file that shows up on the first install screen... in my case, I'd like to include the Newton logo.

Go Go Gadget DBPRO!
