I'm sure this may have been tried before, but heck these days I'm a glutton for punishment.

The code must run in DBprofessional when complete. And should be a space invaders clone.

[Edit]We Adopted some changes to the rules[End Edit]

The Rules:
1)You can post 4 lines code per post.
2)You may also remove 2 lines per post.
3)You can add unlimited remarks but they can't contain code. (try to keep to a minimum as to not spam the code).
3)A line can't have a ":" (unless it's a label! or part of text etc..) It must be a single line (unlike the 20 line challenge).
4)No media can be attached.
5)You must wait until at least two people post befor you can post again.
6)The line of code can be posted anywhere in the snippet (it does not have to go in order).
7)You may make changes to existing codes numerical values.
8)No complaining if someone deletes one of your lines or doesn't post what you would have expected.
9)Try not to purposely destroy the code.
10)To post properly you must copy the snippet from the previous post, make your changes and post a new snippet.
11)You may also correct errroneous spelling mistakes on keywords.

I'll start

Hey, great idea Zen.
Just because I like the idea and I don't want to see it fall uncontrollably out of hand, can I suggest that from now on, we post which lines we added/removed/edited so that we can just past it into the IDE, look at the line and say "Ah, yes, what a champion idea!"?

I'll lead by example;
Added lines; 18/19
Removed lines; none
Edited lines; none

What fun

I should have posted this from the beginning. In fact I just thought about looking at a reference, as I originally had the layout of the 2600 version in my head, but wanted it to be closer to the arcade version. So I will have to change some of my numbers, for position of the barriers.

I think that since we got this far we should change some of the rules.

Propose ammendments I
A: I like the way you guys are adding the line #'s that have changes. I wish I had though of that. It isn't a must but if you can post the line #'s that you have changed.

B: Ability to add rem statements: Since people are actually doing this I think now it would be ok to leave a few rem statements. (it will actually help people new to DB to see why certain things are added. You can add as many rem statements as you deem necessary but let's keep it minimal as to not spam the code. The rem statements can not contain code, it should just be a small description.
eg. `Create barrriers 1-4 and set position.
eg. `Set timer for firing.

C: "4" lines of code per post + you can remove "2" lines per post. (* changing values(numbers) in a line does not count aginst your line count. This will help us if a number was a mistake or if we change the resolution.)

Before these rules into effect I beleieve that we should have 3 other people type "AGREE"!
