I always see aprites being sized like 8x8, 16x16, 32x32, etc. Is there a reason? I recently made a sprite that I tried making 8x8 but was too small, so I made it 16x16, giving it plenty of space, although I have alot of extra space on the sides. Is it ok to make it 8x16, or is that wrong for some reason?

Cheers,
Matt

Yeah, make sprites any size. Sprites that fit in sizes of multiples of 16 pixels are making the best use of the computer speed though.
