well can anyone recommend me a 3d modeller i know theres loads in the game programming kit for begginers but i dont know which one too choose so can anyone recommend one that can model and animate and saves as .x .3ds or any other one you can load into dbc thanks

i used to be indecisive but now ime not so sure

Milkshape 3D and CharacterFX will give you a lot of bang for your buck.

is character fx a vertex modeller and is it free i forgot to say i needed a vertex modeller that animates thanks

uhh... most modellers are "vertex modellers"

I saw a Million dollars I ran and tried to grab it then..................... I woke up ughh!

oh I forgot to mention
Jtedit
it is tottally free and is a "vertex modeller"
it also animates
but if you don't want to buy any then JTEDIT is you best choice
