Yeah against all odds I've learned how to use blender3d, somewhat.
This is my first model, been several hours working on it, and still much to do. It's for my tank game, and it's VERY simple so far:

I still need to make the tank treads and texture it.

EDIT:
here's the tank in the game:

EDIT2:
I added the tank treads and gave it a better texture:

Now for UV mapping.

Thanks for the comment.

Last update for today:

I tried to scale the tank like a m1a1, I also slanted the turret part a bit.
Other screen shots of the model and game are on my website.

I added some more detail, so it'd look more like a tank before i try and figure out how to uv map it:

I'm trying to make it look like this:

but with a camoflauge color.

Yeah it does't look anything like it . Maybe uv mapping will make it look better.

Yay I'm done:

It has the same number of wheels as in the screen shot, 7 on the ground, and one raised in the front and one raised in the back. I'm not happy with the camoflauge texture yet, but it's almost there.

EDIT:
I gave it a better camo texture:

now it's completely done
