Hi,
I'e just started messing around with a submarine game so I need a decent underwater scene. To make it look more realistic I added loads of fog under water but I've came across a problem. I only want the sea with fog.

: Is there a way I can fog only a certain area and leae the rest as it is. Any help will be greatly appreciated :

Quick answer: no.

Long answer: You could check to see if the camera is underwater and change settings if it is. Would that work?

Thanks Mr underhill. I'll do that but the only problem is that when the cameras above the water you'll be able to see the sub and straight to the sea bed. But thanks anyway for the reply.

(?) Suggestion for "on top looking down": Ghosted plains textured with water on top, then fog-like texturing beneath between camera and sub? The deeper the sub, the more plains you need to see through, the foggier the image until it disappears...

Any truly great code should be indisguishable from magic.
