I've seen a dark basic program called the 3D Games Creator. Is that a bundle of several DarkBasic programs like Darkbasic and the 3D Gamemaker?

No. Its a standalone product. Erm... you are probably better off sticking with DB or DBPro.

Hi Chessplaer,
I have a program called "The 3D gamemaker" by Dark Basic. If your new to 3D game editing then its worth buying (its only about £20) Its a real easy program to use, but very little support is given with regards to editing models, texturing and animation.

Yes. That made me mad that I could get DB for 17 pounds (I lack knowledge of the pound key), but it only ships in the EU. In America we have to pay twice that much.

I have 3d games creator it seems like an old version of DB pro, the box advertises that it has the flexibility of DBPRO, but it doesn't seem to have the sheer power but I could be wrong. The only thing that sux is that the tutorials don't explain how to do a damn thing, and I don't think it is compatible with gmax. could any body confirm this?

Its like Dark Basic vs Dark Basic Pro. Some say ones better, some say the other is. No universal answer

There are two products. DarkBASIC: The ultimate 3D games creator, which is the same as DarkBASIC, and then there is The 3D Game Creator, which is a point and click thing with no programming at all. The 3D Game Creator itself was programmed in DarkBASIC.

The box on the 3d games creator says that it is made by interactive entertainment. Who is that? Do they have any other products?

DAMN! I accidentally purchased T3DGM in the "mega pack". I have had some experience with other languages and am not intrested in what appears to be the "noob cannon" of programming. What a waste of good money .

So anyone intrested in purchasing a brand spankin' new copy of a wonderful little program they call "The 3D Game Maker"? Ill give you a real deal

I figuerd it would be basic, but with this forum it makes 'RPG Maker' for PS1 look like C++. I should have known better when it said on the web page, make a complete game with one click of the mouse.

This is Truth!
This is my Belief!
...at least for now.

I ordered a product off Amazon called DarkBASIC 3D Games Creator, which I assumed was DB at the time. When I learned of all the different versions, I emailed Rick, who confirmed that it IS DarkBASIC. The one-click thing is the 3D Gamemaker.

Oh, it's published by Enteractive in the US, which is just some cheap publisher who sells various stuff. I don't know why the menus would have to be translated though. It should arrive tomorrow, so I'll see then I guess.
