Should I get Darkbasic Pro or what? If I don't I'll have to get a rated E game for Gamecube, Gameboy Advance or PC. Darkbasic Pro or something else?

Darkbasic Pro v. Gamecube game... Hands DOWN Darkbasic Pro.
Then you could MAKE that Gamecube game, instead of buying it. Course, it'll take a lot LONGER than going down to the store, BUT you can do other stuff.. like dancing cube babies.

Why do you want other people to make your decisions for you? We don't even know what you'd want to do with it!

Why "E" rated?

ERSB is a good thing, despite the majority opinion against it... the ratings tend to be accurate to the content, not unfair in any way.

Games used to be graded like films before, then some clever guy at teh EU said "Hey, wouldn't it be utopian if everybody in europe used the same ratings system?" - so now we have PEGI which is basically just like hte film ones - 12, 15, 18.

But they're only for guidance I think.

ERSB is only for guidance too; it's only quite recently that they began checking IDs at major stores, and the thorough carding system isn't going to be implemented until this December. I bought the Diablo II Battle Chest about a year ago at Best Buy, the cashier didn't even blink...

No I mean stupid . We didn't need a Europe wide system, it's just another Europ-ism.

I got carded for Tomb Raider 3 when I was 14-15. I was like, I don't have teh driver's license.
So he had to call my parents, who know nothing about video games at all, and they were like "Tomb Raider what? Umm.. yes?"

It was great... the game sucked.

Yes, but what he (and I) are trying to do is make the image link to a webpage And, seeing as this is the most pointless thread anyway, there's not harm in trying it out

Maybe if you could tell us how to make hyperlinks with names other than that of the address, then that might help us a bit.
