Before you try it, you ~must~ download this font:
http://www.digitalneo.net/space%20age.ttf (For some reason the href tags don't highlight this.. just copy-paste into your browser)

Once I make an installer it will install that font, but until then, you gotta save it to your C:WindowsFonts folder.

Then check out this EXE:
http://www.digitalneo.net/SolarFront.zip [7.87MB]

Please test this out (you can type in a name and pass too) and tell me where the FPS sits at along with:

Operating System (eg. Windows XP Pro)
System Ram Type and Size (eg. 1gb Dual-Channel DDR)
Processor Type (eg. Athlon XP 2500+)
Graphics Card (eg. ATI Radeon 9800 Pro)
Graphics Card RAM (eg. 256)

Thanks in advanced I mainly want to see what type of cards are good/bad at the shaders and alpha mapping; so I can get a general idea of system requirements when I look for beta testers when my servers go live.

Thanks in advanced!
This demo runs full FPS (59-60) constantly for me.

Yes, they're easy on the ears. But obviously computer generated.

Thats kinda the idea, since its a science fiction game. I just didn't want to go for the cheesy echo female robot sound.

How'd you make the ocmputer voice? They sound very nice, I might want to use something like that.

I averaged about 330fps

Win2kpro sp3
P4 2.8e
1gb dual channel ddr400
FX5900xt 128mb

Most ppl only get 60 cause they have vertical sync on.

As for the sound clips, you need a hot chick voice.
