Hi @all,

I've created a 3D bridge building software for a company with DBP. But now I'm thinking about to make a level designer edition out of it. Please take a look at it and please give me some feedback.

At this time it's in german but I will release an english version too.

Screenshot at the end of the post or here: [href]www.3dbridgebuilder.com[/href]

Features:
- building different kind of bridges
- stairs with steps and without steps (ramps)
- variable angle of stairs
- plattforms
- support constructions
- you can walk on the bridge
- export the bridge as a x.-file
...and some more features!

Use it to build bridges and huge constructions for your level!

Not to get in conflict with my customer I'm not allowed to give the software away for free. There will be a small amount. What do you think will be fair?

I'm looking forward to your feedback!

Greetings - Spaceman

someone's been playing Bridge-It!
tbh, i always played that game just to see how cheaply i could build bridges or how insane i could make them.

What brought that game alive for me were the very pleasing Shader graphics and physics system not to mention the true attention to detail.

That said it isn't a game i'm particularly fond of playing often, more for people like my brother who like those commercial building games like A-Trains and Railroad Tycoon.

I'd say get ahold of Wabalar's Newton plugin, add some detail... perhaps some better looking graphics. This would definately be a great lil game/sim

as for how much you should sell it for...

if you leave it the same as you sold it to the company...then sell it for the same price...

but if you want to make it free...then take out some features or something and give it away free...but still sell the full version

when I looked at that screenshot, I immediately pictured one of walaber's ragdolls falling off the top and landing in rush hour traffic.....maybe video games do make you more violent...

how are you loading those textures? are you using
...this is the way that gets rid of the distortion when viewing the textures from an angle...

or

this makes it so there is distortion(i think it turns mipmapping off...but not sure )
