i wasn't commenting on his artistic ability. But who in the normal mind would think a well hung peanut is funny??

He posted a message with absolutely NOTHING to begin with, which more than likely he made the post before he even dropped the pencil to the pad.

And I would hazard a guess that he spent NO time drawing his image or researching comic/art methods and designs.

A complete waste of cyberspace..space.

okay, I hand it to you that your ten and wanting to draw, hey that's cool. But seriously, talk your parents into getting you some *real* artbooks from the library.. I mean, it doesn't have to be advanced, but don't let them buy coloring books

Tell them to get you small books dealing with 'how to create fun comics' or 'how to draw face/people/cartoons/comics'

....well hung peanuts are not funny... unless there was a point or twist to him suddenly having a growth.. perhaps, an *obviously* malformed peanut in the groinal area, followed by the remarks *hey, how'd that get there*, could be funny.

or pimpin out the regular peanuts.. could be funny, but I don't want to see some fat peanut man standing with his arms at his sides with his member swaying in the breeze....ewwww

It looks more like it's kinda flopping downwards(not swaying), but I agree with the rest.

My scanner is attached to my old computer, so it will take awhile to get one up, and I'm not the best of animeartists, I know someone who can look at a scene from cowboy Bebop, look away draw everything in the scene perfectly.

Got anime?I do.

A'IGHT, BROTHA, YOU MAMA IN DA HOUSE, YA'LL! Y'ALL GET WADAM SAYIN'.

Deep in TGC forums a perversion is being made, mod genes have seaped into the noob gene pool and the "Demonieus214ious" is born, with noob powers and noob intelligence, this creature has but one thing that makes it different: It thinks it's a mod! BEWARE!

@Demon214: Sorry, but you sound noobish, and you talk like you own the place(my opinion), that's a BAD combo around here. But just so you know, "perversion" really meens "great guy", but lets keep this our little secret.

it's not that we're insulting you, personally. We're insulting the pictures and the amount of time you did not put into them.

Tell me you spent more than 2 minutes drawing those.

When I sit down and draw, it's for a good 30-60 minutes on one piece, and on one object. More or less depending on how complex. For example, if I were to draw say, a full figure, it would take me at least an hour to get the shapes right, and have a good looking image, ready for inking. If that figure were clothed in an intricate outfit or garment, it may take much more time. If that person is pretty much nude, it wouldn't take me more than 30 to 45 minutes.

This is the amount of time you should be putting into your drawings. If you can't seem to use that much time to draw a figure, you need to study more, there's so much you can do to make a good looking picture, that you will NEVER be able to do it in a few minutes.

Now this may not be true for some things. For example, cartoon animations, where most of the detail comes in the coloring of the figure. With an experianced artist, on a simple drawing, wouldn't take more than a few minutes. But to make a very good stand alone piece (for example, in a comic) and an inexperianced artist, (you and I) it should take a lot of time and devotion.

(btw, my explanations is before it's sent off to be colorized. This could take hours depending on how its done.. on a standalone piece. For cartoons (like on tv) it wouldn't take too long, because it's got to be done quickly, because there's hundreds of frames in a cartoon. But in a single piece, you need detail!! People are going to be studying your imagery because it's stationary!! This is very unlike a cartoon that moves and people can't concentrate and take in all the detail in only a few seconds, so it can be very simple.

I gave you ideas of what to do. I said, "Have your parents get you some books!!" look back up through the posts if you missed it.

I could scan in some pictures I have drawn. But they would *not* help you, because you wouldn't know *how* they were drawn.

You can't take a finished object like that, and figure out the base components (when you're unexperianced)

Anyways, I spent a few hours just to draw a flashlight.... with a lot of annoying curves, as a contour line drawing.... in art class I didn't sign up for art either...
