I've done a very small update to my speech plug-in - it can now read text (standard or XML) from indivual sections of an INI file. Eg :

[MESSAGE]
LINE0="<context ID = "E-mail_Address">someone@microsoft.com</context>"

Up to 131071 characters per key are allowed.

Look at the constants - you need to use SPF_ASYNC in the flags option, eg :

print say("To be or not to be, that is the question.",SPF_ASYNC)
