How do I make 2d levels for my snake game. I want to add my own images and let the snake sprite collide with the objects on the screen. I would like to know what formats I can use, like .bmp,.png, .gif,.jpeg etc. I will need this info as soon as possible so I can finish my snake game.

Oh and dont forget to add some source code.
I would also like some source code for making the snake grow longer as it eats stuff. like it adds another part of the image to the body or something... I am very confused cause I am new to programming.

Quote: "learn collision"

Collision for a snake game is VERY easy if you use an array(which you will)

crzy programmer, you could have made the same image at about 1/4th the size. Please resize it so it doesn't stretch the thread.
