I hear that DDS files load up faster than JPEG or BMP images in DarkBASIC Professional. Where can I find a DDS image editor or a converter. I would be much abliged.

You can get a free plugin from nVidia for either Photoshop or Paintshop Pro as well as some DOS tools are available here:
