That looks incredible. Undoubtedly the best looking DBC or DBPro game I've seen.

indeed, gorgeous!! as usual another top-notch product

people always talk about Star Wraith, but the Tito series is another excellent example of a successful DBC\DBP game

thanks for the comments everyone.

it's still only writen in good old DBC
(i really must look into moving over to DBPro soon)

we are still talking to a few publisher, so not really shore where it will get released? we will put up an online version too, so if it doesn't end up in a store near you, you will be able to buy it on-line still.

Wow, you guys never cease to impress me!
God I love these games, can't wait to get my hands on the demo.

There are alot of DarkBASIC Professional developers who should be hanging thier heads in shame right now, heh.
You have a talented team there Dimsdale, it is pretty hard to impress me; but you guys keep doing it.

Any cool new features in this version?

Err... no. If you had actually looked on their website you would notice it requires DirectX 8.1.

Anyhow, this version looks a lot better than the earlier version (Which ceased to impress me). How did you use a seperate cartoon engine for DBC though? I wouldn't think you could use a graphic engine with another graphic engine. At least the pirates aren't flat 2D images anymore.

DarkBASIC Standard/Enhanced uses DirectX 7.0a
DarkBASIC Professional 1.00.x-1.04.x uses DirectX 8.1
DarkBASIC Professional 1.05.x uses DirectX 9.0b

So it could've used an early DBP.

the first tito was more a programming exercise as i hadn't touched a line of code in 15 years.

with this second newer version, we tried to make a game that looks more modern and fit better into today market place and hopefully address the game play short falls of the first game.
