This forum really needs one, because games keep slipping down and down and down... Basically, post a link to your game and a few sentences about it.

You mean like a showcase? - like if everyone submitted their game to Rich and he organised a showcase of them, with download links etc etc?

I'm thinking that before too long there'll be a self-upload thing, more options for posting project news etc anyway. We'll just have to wait and see what Rich has planned.

Well, actually, what I was thinking was just for people to post stuff here. Then, there'd be a thread that was a list of programs. No fancy stuff. Like this thing:

Yes.

Good idea. It should be a sticky thread that people are only allowed to post their games in, no comments.

It could be strictly moderated so the posts have to fit a cetain template.

Bold underlined title, short description, controls, screenshots (320x240 max) download link/s and forum link.

Template could be:



It should be called "User Showcase" or something. It would be good because it would be easy to scan the screenshots for something you like the look of.

hmm yea that sounds like a good idea to me, the only thing i worry is that the feature could be easily mis-used and could be even flooded by a determined enough developer...

oh and scraggle how did you get an image to show as your sig... i tried using [img][/img] and it didnt work...
