Newcomers DBPro Corner / two sprites movement

Ive got sprite 1 movement l,r,u,d ok but ive tried sprite 2 with different stuff useing a b instead of x,y the ploblem seems to b i can onlu move up.

i wrote this
a=100: b=100 :c=10
if inkey$()="l" then dec a,10 : move sprite 2,c
it works but only up not l,r,or down any ideas.

sorry i sorted it out got rid of move sprite and changed cords had a and b wrong and getting used to inc and dec
thanx 4 any trouble.
hope your not thinking im spamming boards. i feell like im getting somewhere
