Okay... for some reason, after the first time my sprite runs through its animation, the first frame is either black or transparent, i can't tell which. In any case, it is supremely aggravating.

AARGH and I was going to attach the source code but for some reason everytime I try to save this project it deletes all the source

It's just a simple play sprite command nestled into a do loop, and the first frame doesn't work right after the first time through.

ooo isn't that precious

i had the problem to, and im sorry but i dont know how to fix it, but your sorce is probably beign deleted because you have to save both the project and the source.

Which DB are you using?

If it's DBPro I may be able to help.

I think, if i remember correctly in dbp, dunno about dbc but to fix the problem in pro all you need to do is make the first frame of your animation or tileset if your using a sprite sheet blank or black as dbp sets the first frame as 0 not 1, or you can just call the play sprite command and your frames as well (1 to whatever) to skip over the frame of 0 being called, this should stop it from happening. If i remember correctly that is as it's been awhile since i used the play sprite command.
