Try searching the web for WorldCraft it's free! It uses BSP's though. It's easy to use but you must have half-life to set it up. Someone on the forum is making a level editor. Search the forum for more details. Also, if you decide to use WorldCraft, make sure that the textures you use in the editor are in the same directory as your BSP map when you are ready to load your map in darkbasic pro.

Unfortunatley I don't have half life. Does anyone know a workaround? I don't have any mods either. I tried using quark, but am having trouble setting up.

I heard that the bsp editor Quark is free. I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Get your compiler from the quark site. It depends on what game you are using as a basis.
