Hello everyone, how are ya doing ?

Well trying to solve my problems with DBP I have noticed very strange things.

Firstly with BSP:

With patch 3.1 my program has the following problems:-
Falling through world when going up starirs
Texture resizing problems.
Slower frame rates than patch 2

With patch 2 my program has the following problems:-
Falling through world when going up starirs
Slower frame rates than patch 1

With patch 1 my program has only a slight drop in frame rates.

With no patches everything seems all right except object resizing and ligtmaps etc

So my point is that, I don't why my program gets worse with the patches. So I suggest to people who have DBP to just use patch 1 "until everything gets fixed"

I wonder if people also have similar problems as stated above or experienced this in another way.

Weird, on my setup, Patch 3 works better than 2 and 1. With Patch 1 there were several texture bugs that have been fixed since Patch 2.

NOBODY has a forum name as stupid as Darth Shader. I do.

That is really weird, I think Dark BASIC Pro is just different on other computers.

It may be that Lee Bamber has put in more failsafes in the code to make it more reliable. This would explain why the frames do see to drop with each patch. Apparantly patch 4 will increase most 3d issues but wether this refers to bsp
I don't know. Did you know you can influence how the bsp collision works certain bsp commands.

I think there was mention of falling through the stairs; and a way to fix it I believe... I cannot remember if it was posted here or at realgametools.net

Looks good to me, hell that's the only language I know and it looks better than my posts.

This is Truth!
This is my Belief!
...at least for now.
