heh, you sound like a newspaper ad, dude! What part of each thing do you need help with?
Also, have you tried making some other games in DB? RPGs are quite hard, so I suggest you start with something easier. Like "Asteroids". Even if you've made them before in C++, doing it in DB is very different so start with the easy things just to learn how the language works.

thanks tkf15h, I have made some forms of asteoids and snake +misc.
I was just trying to figure out how to make an object (a.k.a sprite)
up the screen to create a scrolling affect i was just trying to fidgure out the whole sprite movement thing and making a sprite avi
transparent the rest like the battle could take a little more time.
I was just trying out a new style i have worked alot with fps but was blown away with a simple (Or complex i should say) rpg. but thanks for the input. From rio aye cool im from San Diego CA

Objects and sprites are totally different things.
Objects are 3D. Sprites are basically just pictures.

Am I the only one here who's really confused?

I'd like to know how to scroll the 2D map up when the sprite walks.
Like in the 2D Final Fantasy Games.

Would you need a 3D Camera pointing down on a 3D Plain with the 2D map(texture) on it?
