What is the right way to close winsock if you have a connection. I called the shutdown command and the receive until it returned 0, but it never returns 0.
What is the correct way???

Not a already made plugin, but for my own plugin.
After i have received information for the net, and i want to close DBP it gives an error.
If i insert a shutdown method given on the msdn site, the program never quits.
So my question was, how do you properly shutdown winsock after you have connected or bound to a server????( with a home made plugin )

Not that i know, on the msdn site they said that you must shutdown sending data, listen to the socket until it returns 0 and then closesocket( socket);

But it never returns 0, so the program goes in a never ending loop.

In the middle of the page, or so, there's a box that contains the steps to close winsock. I need a solution for both sides...

That's the problem, there's no code that actualy says how it must be done. I followed these steps, but it doesn't work.
