Is the use of BSP limited. I have just tried to use a medal of honor bsp in DBPro and it would not have it. I can use Quake 3 and Half-life but WW2 is the preriod I am looking for.

Why don't you make your own bsp map and try to copy the textures needed

I am usin Quarke at the moment. However I find everything has a catch when using bsp....

Half-life-Objects flicker but the BSP runs perfect
Quake 3 will not compile
MOH reads a illegal program error

However real Bsp quality comes from the lighting as well as the textures so I desperatly want to use qauRKE whivh is also quality free.

Is day of Defeat quake or Half-life? I can get half-life to compile etc and load into my program but if the map is too big I get an awful flicker on any 3d objects in the scene but the bsp looks perfect. DAMMIT!!!!

All I want is one game that works perfectly in DBPro and then I can add my own textures to create the enviroment i'm after.

And quake 3 levels will not even compile in Quarke.

I got q3 files to compile, but u need to download q3map. If you downlad gtkradiant you can get it. My only problem is that the bsp won't load the textuures, probably because they are in the wrong folder

MOHAA BSPs are different to standard Quake 3 ones. Create your own Q3 BSP map. All the BSPs I have tried to load work fine.

Dark fluff,
I have tried Q3 bsp maps and they work fine. The problem is when I try to get Q3Map.exe to work in quarke it wont have it.
R:\q3\Tools\q3map.exe, which is my dir t0 the radiant tools,is what is put into the first 3 for bsp etc as the program says but it says Failed because BSP not loaded!

Dark fluff,
You convinced me to perservere with q3 and I got it working.
However I had two problems.
1 Fog causes visual problems. Turn fog on or off.

2 I got black areas where textures should be. I think it is because some textures register like an entity, so that footsteps can change according to what you are running on.
I tried just using the BLOCK textures which are for walls etc. Then I cut all the files out and put them into an empty PAK0.PK3 file.!!!!!!!!!!WORKS PERFECTLY.!!!!!!!!!!

Hope I returned the favour.
