After scouring the web for information about 3D Maths (from a game programming perspective, rather than a mathematician's) I stumbled across this set of tutorial pages:

This will give you a good background in the basics of vector operations, matrices, etc. I'm still looking for information about the following terms:

CATMULLROM - Sounds like some sort of feline torture device.
HERMITE - That's that yeasty brown stuff, right?
