how do i change my exe icon because i am getting fed up of that siver box

i have tried and tried but i can not figre ut how to do it i have asked my frends but thay say its something to do with the control panel but it isnt

Hi!

You should try Resource Hacker. It's a program that you can edit exe/dll/ ocx files with. [href]http://rpi.net.au/~ajohnson/resourcehacker

If the above URL address doesn't work, you should search for the program using a standard search engine like google.com.

IMPORTANT: you can only make 16 colour icon for your exe because using higher color depth will increase the file size of your icon and the size of your exe. This forces the exe not to run.

no, dont bother with that, thats stupid and time wasting (no offence proof88 ), just make a shortcut to your exe, then righthand click on ur shortcut, then go to properties, then click on change icon, then click on browse, then browse your image, then it should have changed.

true but it doesnt change the actual exe icon so it doesnt look profesional
