I'm afraid this is a bit too dark for me too see Although in the middle shot where the light is in the arch with columns it looks beautiful! Is this an RTS (or what)? Wish I could see more detail, my gamma and monitor light settings are up full and its mostly black Sorry. But it looks gr8!

Looks great, but the REAL test is how it moves, that's where a lot of games collapse, when're we seeing a demo?

Demo'll be realiased soon, this screenshots are from the beta version of demo But sorry i can't tell u exactly

Id prefer to see your own graphics.

diablo graphics were made by someone else and your not exactly doing them any respect.

no no indi... Net has said he isn't part of the dev team, so really they could be from anywhere - i guess we'll have to see an ingame shot before we can say, because it does look even to me ALOT like diablo ... and i've only ever played it 3times before for like 20mins each time.

as for the other team members - they should post up
it would be great if actually we could have posts in native + english ... because i've noticed alot of people when they translate to english don't actually understand the context properly cause it is a very odd language

So we can ague a lot, but lets wait untill demo comes.

@A aka HH:
I don't think that english lang. is hardest, also I don't think it is one of the hardest. For example Japanees or Russian or Arabic language is much more difficult.

japanese would be a bastard to learn! but if i could be bothered to learn another language, it'd be it! Have u got a demo release date we can wait for? or are u uncertain? Anyways still looking forward to playing it though.

well i know many languages... and i've poked into others (right now i'm learning Ukranian|Russian)

and i have to say, THE hardest i've tried to learn is Chinese because it is pitch based - as my friends know i have a definate problem with how i sound based on my mood, and i found i accidentially was asking for things i didn't want, insulting people and alike.

russian is pretty simple (considering my primary language)
what makes english such a hard language to understand is that is like japanese and interpretive language.
Add this without the definition of words as either male or female ... there is ALOT of confusion.

easy enough to understand howto structure basically, but it is an extremely hard language to learn for speaking naturally.

however Hexgear the languages from around where you are, arn't exactly friendly to learn either
you have what, 2 regional and french to boot, plus english for the tourist lol - kinda feel sorry for some regions of africa.
i wish i could remember thier names, like Matabola and Guanian or something - don't flame me for getting them wrong :")

i'll look forward to the demo

heh! yeah, I stay in Nigeria and i can't seem to understand why we couldn't just make one freakin language "Nigerian" but noo, they had to make loads and loads, now there are about 10+ . Yeah, 'tis true most of our names are hard to pronounce, nobody has ever pronouced my name correctly for the first time: "Dienye" simple to the eye yet complex to the tongue!

Yes, once you learn French, its quite easy to pick up Spanish (and therfore Portuguese), Italian and German.

For me, Japanese and Chinese are the b*tch. Plus has any1 tried to learn Welsh? The pronounciation is so foreign its actually quite an interesting challenge

i know some welsh... bloody weirdos with thier letters meaning different letters lmao

but then again i can say the same about alot of the African languages.
personally i'd pronouce that name "day-oo-nigh" but depends which form of nigerian the name comes from.

my ex had famiy out there and one of th guys out there was called mama decay sadee (not how you spell it i know but how ya prnouced it) ... but for some reason everyone called him gybbe - when i asked why, they told me it was a shorter version of his name.
I'm gonna have to guess like his brothers he had a second name for the second language but i dunno - i never found that one out. Seem'd weird to me

lmao "day-oo-nigh" hmmm not quite there, its more like: "dee - yey - n - ye" where the second y in yey is silent! hahahaha "day-oo-nigh" still lmao!

i don't know why so many people complain about things being too dark, i mean if they were too light they'd complain there was no atmosphere.

if the images are too dark them i'm sorry its time to take your monitor in for servicing or purchasing a new one i'm afriad

most now have little buttons or dials for ramping up the Brightness and Contrast - and if you have them at full then you need a new one without a doubt!

Japanese isn't the hardest to learn. In fact, their basic grammar is simpler than English. Japanese seems harder because of all the Kanji to learn though, which I'll admit, will be a bee-hatch when I come to it.

BTW! The shots look AWESOME (giving you the benifit of the doubt)

Great pics Eraser (and other developers). I don't know why people don't belive you about the graphics. After all, loads of rpgs / stategies have nice graphics created by good 2D artists. Maybe this games creators are good 2D artists.

BTW - Gothic is such a GREAT game! Big smile. But its only dark at night. Thats because the sun doesn't come out at night.

New screenshots:

Here you can see the devil sitting below. He'll give u his silly advices. He likes when you kill more and more ... And when you kill too more enemies there'll be a fire.
All screen can be in fire, but fire will never reach the angels in the top. Angels will really help you and light you the way.

BTW. Yea Gothic and Gothic II are great games!!!
Can I ask some question about it?

there is some mission in Gothic II, where you must find Garond's mines. Where are they? (I found only two - Silvestro and Diego)
