how can you put custom guns into first person mode? like how do put the gun on the screen with a hand holding it?

To stick placed your gun onto the screen, use the "Lock On Object" command.

or make a limb from the cameras dummy cube object thats hidden,sometimes its a sphere thats hidden but u can attach limbs to this cube and alleviate some issues that lock object presents.

You'll need to have a gun model with a hand already attached, this will look more natrual than trying to mix hand and gun models at run-time.

try a 3d package called milkshape.
