what file are you runing into an x? 3ds?

there are loads of small programs out there it just needs a little search on google, eg if you want to turn 3ds into x look for a "3ds to x converter".

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=3ds+%2Bto+x+converter&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

Theres also a very simple 3ds to x converter in the DB1 directory (not sure about DBP, havent looked)...

\Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic\tools\DBConv.exe

nope sorry, but if you look on your DB disc there is a trial of 3D Exploration. That lets you load ans save quite alot of different 3d file types (even a playstation image for some reason lol).

I havent got it installed at the moment, so i cant look, but if it can load dfx files, you'll be able to re-save them as x files
