hey.
i know that this has been discussed time and time again but i need to know an effective way to put the players gun in front of him whatever angle he faces. i see that locking objects onto the screen apparently doesnt? help and i have tried for days to figure this out by myself. my gun seems to work by aligning the object to my camera but it x rotates the opposite way if i face different directions. i am using camera orientation not object orientation and im using the basic mouselook in the dbc examples. would anyone be able to help me.

cheers

ps. also with that method would anyone be able to help me with the camera not being able to pivot upside down! id be grateful and msybe i could repay the favour one day

What was the point in posting that!!!??? If you have nothing useful to say DON'T POST!
Anyways. Lock Object On does work. You just have to keep fiddling with the Objects position to get it to show.

a common method is to make a cube or sphere and add the gun as a limb and position the camera in the sphere so that you can't see it. or in front of it.
