Hi, if you are making a game with FPSC (not sure you'd be doing much else with it), please post screens from it here. This way we can all see what wonders you are developing.

As an incentive, the best screen shot by the end of February will win TGC vouchers to the value of $100.

My only question is do we *HAVE* to use the media provided or can we use our own? Do you have any clue how hard it is to make a Western with Sci-Fi and WWII packs? I have had to be very creative.....

[EDIT]
What! Are you following me around Richard? Every thread I have either read or reponsed to you have something to say within MINUTES of me making a post/change...

Scary.....

As long as the shot comes from an FPSC game it doesn't matter what media you use (copyright allowing - don't go stealing objects from Halo and expecting to win!).

This mini-compo is looking for the BEST possible screen shot - that means turn on your lightmapping people and leave it rendering overnight

Hi i have a great picture from my fpsc game
It is in bmp and not resized.

But its on 2.3 mb so i donĀ“t know how i should send it to you.
My upload server is down and villagephotos only allow 125kb and photobucket only allowed i think 250kb.

So how can i give you the pic RickV?

[EDIT] : i have no choice so here is the picture in jpg format but still not resized. Tell me what you think

Zone Chicken, your use of lighting is excellent. It rivals that of Jasuk70.

just press shift and print screen at the same time. The print screen key is above the insert and delete keys.

black light does not exist. and I'm glad to say that TGC acknowledges this and has decidet for players to use "shadow" (ie. a LACK of light) in their games. its simple to do, if you want a "shadow" then you should make sure there is no light in that area. genius!

@Josh1121

Go to file, build game, level settings, global script(edit), under level setup, change the ambient light setting to about 8 or 10, then build some light's in your level at or around 100 or 150, start there then just keep tweeking the light's level and that placement till you get the desired effect.

Never saw FF the movie. I will however see Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Sephiroth kicks ass! Will you be able to shoot down the dropships, or just shoot the badguys?

There will be a courtyard, whereas the DropShips hover over and the troopers jump out the back. You can shoot the DropShips but there will be no damange nor will they be around long enough for you to inflict any damage anyways. But the troopers jumping out of the Dropship and slamming into "goo" on the ground to cushin their fall *OR* I'm going to have jetpacks to slow their decent. Right now it's "goo"

P.S.
Whoever said they were the badguys?

Think "Anyone called for backup?"
