Does any one have an opinion on, is it better to make your menu system with the text commands in DBP or to make the menu options in a paint program and then assign them to sprites???

sprites can look nicer (so long as you don't get resize fuzz) and are easier to detect clicks with. However, nicely deisgned box/text combos can look great and save file space

I have tried both ways. My text code did detect clicks but not good, I had the text change color with mouseover but if the mouse was over the left side of the text it would not change color and my sprite code would not detect anything!!! Had to be my coding, I'm Pretty new at DBP and don't know alot yet, but I do have alot of ideas if I could just learn this stuff!!!
